Scott M. Emonet is a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduating from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Mr. Emonet earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. He was a member of Acacia Fraternity and President of General College Student Council. Mr. Emonet graduated from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge. While attending Southern University Law Center, Mr. Emonet was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and President of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers, Student Chapter.

Mr. Emonet is licensed by the Louisiana State Bar and is also licensed to practice before the Eastern, Middle and Western U. S. District Courts of Louisiana as well as the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Emonet is an active member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, American Bar Association, Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association and Criminal Defense Lawyers of Louisiana.
